CreditBrief is a one-person publication. That shapes what it will and will not do: it publishes explanations of how credit and consumer finance actually work, built from primary sources — regulator guidance, the text of the rules, issuer disclosures — and it does not publish ranked "best card" lists, personalised recommendations, or anything that would require a licence he does not hold.

The site is edited and published from Málaga, Spain, for readers in the United States. U.S. consumer credit rules are public and can be read at the source, which is how this site is written — but distance is worth stating plainly rather than leaving a reader to assume otherwise.
