What we cannot help with
We are a publication, not a financial services company. We cannot look up your account, contact an issuer on your behalf, dispute a charge for you, or advise on your specific financial situation.
For a problem with a bank or card issuer, contact the institution first. If that does not resolve it, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau accepts consumer complaints and forwards them to the company, which is required to respond.
For anything requiring professional advice — tax treatment, debt in collections, bankruptcy — consult a qualified professional licensed in your state.
